In June 2025, Scugog Council approved the use of paper ballots with optical vote scan tabulators and internet voting for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections. All electors on the Voters' List will receive a Voter Information Package in early October. This can be used to register for internet voting or brought to a voting location along with an acceptable form of identification.
In-person voting will be available at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre (SCRC), Greenbank Hall, Blackstock Recreation Complex, and Scugog Island Hall on the following dates:
- October 16: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (All Locations)
- October 17: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (All Locations)
- October 18: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (All Locations)
- October 19: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (SCRC Meeting Rooms)
- October 20: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (SCRC Meeting Rooms)
- October 21: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (SCRC Meeting Rooms)
- October 22: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (SCRC Meeting Rooms)
- October 26: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (All Locations) - Voting Day
